I have had fantastic sweetpeas on my North Wales hillside this year following the liberal application of some horse manure from a friend - definitely the answer!Elizabeth Musgravehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09473705107636868753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3512151224022821706.post-80579707302905005592008-08-16T13:12:00.000-07:002008-08-16T13:12:00.000-07:00Hey youThere's something on my blog for youTwiggy ...Hey you
There's something on my blog for you
Twiggy xTwiggyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09065849697979313992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3512151224022821706.post-52318387151562775992008-08-13T05:53:00.000-07:002008-08-13T05:53:00.000-07:00Your fingers are definately greener than mine! I ...Your fingers are definately greener than mine! I also have problems growing sweet peas. At my last house I could grow anything, but not here. Excellent find at the recycling centre. My Dad, years ago, was going to the tip as it was then and jokingly said can I find you anything, as I was starting a fashion Btec I said a drawing board please. I could not believe it when he came back with an A3 drawing board!! He was smiling like a cheshire cat! That story gets repeated often and I still have that board.
Take Care.Indigo Bluehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18045423692916533428noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3512151224022821706.post-9347032416358373332008-08-13T04:23:00.000-07:002008-08-13T04:23:00.000-07:00Garden is looking lovely,I wish I had room for a g...Garden is looking lovely,I wish I had room for a greenhouse in mine. My dad grew sweet peas in his greenhouse for the first time this year and has had loads of flowers. Great set of books you've got there!
YvonneCountry Blisshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06564153247102268575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3512151224022821706.post-6304364426691865802008-08-12T02:38:00.000-07:002008-08-12T02:38:00.000-07:00Garden is looking lovely missus. We have polycarb panels on our greenhouse now as the plastic ones kept popping out and blowing away last Winter:) Your books look ace and it's always good to have a supply of seeds. It's good to see your plentiful supply of wood for the Winter, can just imagine you all sat round the stove in your cosy cottage - lovely.
Twiggy xTwiggyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09065849697979313992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3512151224022821706.post-17760044235903595502008-08-11T14:18:00.000-07:002008-08-11T14:18:00.000-07:00Wow, lots og varied magic here. We're thinking of constructing something (quite small - not much room) for 'posh wood' for the winter too. Lovely plants , especially the baby conker tree.silverpebblehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01456289271322986540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3512151224022821706.post-10066238738246681602008-08-11T11:09:00.000-07:002008-08-11T11:09:00.000-07:00I wondered where you had gone.Well done with the w...I wondered where you had gone.
Well done with the woodpile - we have a pile of wood to be cut up for this winter but the bad weather keeps stopping me from chopping.
Oh I wish I'd found those books they look so interesting.
